Our Process
Looking to schedule a cleaning but don’t know where to start or what to look for? We can help.
1. Inspection
Not all carpets are created the same.
Neither are all technicians, for that matter. With unlimited possibilities in textile construction, it only stands to reason to have limitless capabilities of cleaning them! We inspect your carpet for soil (both actual and apparent), wear, stains, spots, and odors.
This discovery process creates a dialogue that allows you ‘steer the ship’ and receive the most personal service possible.
2. Preparation
We provide helpful instructions on preparing your areas for cleaning. This can be summed up by saying, “Have your areas prepped as if you were about to thoroughly vacuum.”
Generally, If I can see it, I can clean it!
Your preparation should expose as much carpeting as possible, which allows us to detect any issues that may arise during cleaning.
3. Pre-Spray
Most modern carpets are made of recycled plastic and has an acidic pH level in its natural state. When we apply a pre-spray to your carpet, we allow it to dwell in order to dissolve soil.
We use our knowledge of chemistry to pick the best pre-spray for your carpet. All our products are non-toxic and animal safe. We also provide unscented products for those who have sensitivities.
4. Agitation
We use our powerful CRB (counter rotating brush) to:
1) evenly distribute the pre-spray throughout your carpet fibers
2) loosen dirt and debris from deep inside your carpet for immediate removal
5. Spot/Odor Treatment
7. Speed Drying
We purchased the most powerful machine on the market just to ensure faster dry times. Before we begin the cleaning process, we discuss with you the best way to gain airflow through the area, either by windows, fans, or our commercial-grade air movers (available for rent as well).
Hot water extraction methods always take longer to dry (generally 2-4 hours, depending on season and location), while VLM (Very Low Moisture) methods generally have your carpets dry in an hour or less!
8. Final Inspection
Before we start rolling up hoses, we’ll ask you to accompany us through the areas to address any final concerns. We provide aftercare instructions at this point. Sort of like tattoo aftercare!
This is generally where we thank you profusely for trusting us in your home and glance around for forgotten items!
